Snapchat adds new features with update

On Sept.15th, Snapchat users logged onto their phones to see a new update available.
The update included new features such as the rainbow puking filter, gigantic eyes and an aging filter. The update has had mixed reviews, with some get creeped out by many of the lenses, especially the monster and puking rainbow features, but others have become annoyed of the lenses on everyone’s story.
“They are cool but they are used every single time, all I see is the new update,” junior Lamont Atkins said.
While many users have discovered the new lenses, few found the new way that Snapchat is making a profit. Replays, which used to be free, now cost money. They offer you three replays for 99 cents, compared to the one-a-day replay that you got on the old version. While the new lenses may be cool, few have found this payment option yet, which may spoil the update.
