Blackbox Theater Production
The Blackbox theater production was formed in 2003 to fill up empty space in the LBT season created by the change of jurisdiction for the annual musical from the LBT production to the choir department. They produce small-cast experimental shows that wouldn’t be suitable for a main-stage production. This year, the annual spring show is called Fully Committed, starring seniors Michael Totten and Sarah Martin, who play the over-functioning Sam Peliczowski, alternating for two nights each. Fully Committed explores how Sam handles all that life has thrown at him including the self-important demands of customers (voiced offstage by 11 other actors playing the chaotic ensemble), acting aspirations, and familial stresses.
